Enjoy 9 days of the famous Kenyan Safari trails, from the hidden gems of Taita Hills Sanctuary to the famously known Maasai Mara and have an adventure of a lifetime!
Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is a biodiversity hotspot promoting conservation and game viewing. The Sanctuary, surrounded by an ecosystem inclusive of the riverine forest, the savanna wood and the grasslands, hosts more than 50 large mammal species and about 300 bird species. A mountainous topography offers a glimpse of the surrounding rolling hills and the mountains.
Tsavo West is the second largest protected area in Kenya and is a beautiful ruggedness overspread with attractions including the Shetani Lava flows and the Mzima Springs. The Tsavo West has a diverse ecosystem inclusive of Acacia woodlands, scrubs, riverine vegetation, rocky ridges and many more. From the Poacher’s Look out, view herds of game such as elephants, rhinos, hippos, lions, cheetahs, elusive leopards, buffalos, as well as diverse plant and bird species.
Tsavo East National Park is the largest protected area in Kenya. Tsavo East, being generally flat, majorly consists of semi-arid grasslands and savannah for vegetation cover. It also hosts the Yatta Plateau, the world’s longest lava flow, among other attractions including the Luggard Falls and the Galana River that flows through the park and empties into the Indian Ocean. The Park is easily attractive for game viewing as it is larger than most and is rarely visited.
Amboseli is home to the African Elephants, the gentle giants of the wild, and is host to iconic wildlife including four of the Big Five Wildlife species. The park offers an up-close encounter with herds of big-tusked African elephants that flock the park. Across the park’s open savannah grasslands, catch a glimpse of the Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest summit, which towers over the park across the border.
Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, offers a welcome break in your safari excitement. The Lake is home to pods of hippos and diverse birdlife species, with other species such as waterbucks and zebras live on the lake’s shores. The Animal Sanctuary Farm is an island on the Lake Naivasha. A boat trip on the lake and a walk in the sanctuary farm will spice up your Safari tremendously.
