5-Day Budget Safari; Big Five, Bird Watching & Boat Ride

Begin your safari with a morning drive to Amboseli National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, head out for a game drive to spot elephants, lions, cheetahs, and more. As the sun sets, the park's golden plains and Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak create a breathtaking backdrop. Spend the night in a cozy lodge or camp within the park.

After an early morning game drive and breakfast, journey to Lake Naivasha, a serene freshwater lake in the Great Rift Valley. Stop for lunch en route and arrive at Naivasha in the afternoon. Relax with a scenic boat ride on the lake, spotting hippos and a variety of bird species, including pelicans and fish eagles. Later, take a guided walking safari on Crescent Island, where you’ll walk among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. Spend the night at a lakeside lodge.

Depart Lake Naivasha after breakfast, heading towards the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at your safari camp or lodge. In the afternoon, set out on a game drive across the vast plains of the Mara, home to an abundance of wildlife, including the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffaloes. During the migration season (July to October), witness the spectacular movement of wildebeest and zebras across the Mara River. Later return to your accommodation for dinner.

Depending on your schedule, you may have time to explore Nairobi’s attractions, such as the Giraffe Centre or the Karen Blixen Museum, before your safari adventure officially comes to an end.
